The band plays popular classic rock songs from the Beatles and the Rolling Stones to Cold Chisel, CCR, Paul Kelly, Robert Palmer, Billy Idol, INXS and more. The band members all come together with a wealth of experience from years of performing in bands. Rod Christian an accomplished music director/ producer and teacher leads the band on bass and sings lead and backup vocals.Gary Geelhoed has a vast background in medicine and has played in bands for many years. He sings lead and backup vocals and plays rhythm guitar. George Janicki is a very accomplished musician having performed in many of Perth’s top bands and plays lead guitar and sings lead and backup vocals. James Fielder is a real technician on the drums and an innovative performer. He has performed in many prominent bands and ensembles. He also sings backup vocals. Powerhouse Rock is available for major functions including corporate shows, birthday parties, dances and weddings.
